Xpertise Construction were contracted for an extensive, full-scale renovation of our three-bedroom apartment in Milsons Point, Sydney starting with a complete gutting of the apartment including the removal of several internal walls and archways. Work commenced beginning of May and completed beginning of August. Xpertise Construction lived up to their name and exceeded all expectations going above and beyond from the outset and throughout the entire renovation. They were on budget, completed on time and their work was of a high standard of quality and detail. We would highly recommend Alex and his team, not only would we use them again without hesitation, but would happily work exclusively through them should we have any future development plans. In the handling of our project, their services included: project management, design advice, appointment and co-ordination of trade servicemen, cabinet maker, shower and glass installer, stonemason, carpet layer, wooden floor layer, painter, tiler, air-conditioning installer, electrician and plumber. Alex coordinated his crew flawlessly whilst having access to a wide portfolio of tradesmen with whom they have a continuing relationship and accordingly have a similar ethos of keeping the client happy and who maintain a high level of professionalism and standard of work. From our initial site visit, to assess our requirements, to the last day of work, we worked collaboratively with the friendly Xpertise team involving frequent contact with the project manager, their design consultant, and each of the subcontractors to achieve the highly successful outcome we were seeking in the renovation. Their services extended beyond carrying out the construction work, they were able to assess the style of finish we desired, the final end-look and our tastes. In doing so they were able to make suggestions for solutions, address our concerns, anticipate potential problems, direct us to suppliers who may have the product we were having difficulty locating and use their experience gained from other projects for our benefit. This collaborative approach extended to all the trades men and a good example was the stonemason, who arranged a meeting with a wholesale stone supplier and we were shown some stock not generally on the market. We chose one for our kitchen bench-top and island. All through the project Alex personally monitored expenses and ensured his entire crew were aware of our budget and mindful of the project cost, cost effectiveness when considering options and were practical and pragmatic in their approach. Once the project started there was no down time and the excellent project manager assigned to our renovation project (who also acted as quality control manager) was always on site organizing and co-ordinating the trades men each day.
