Accepted Answer

Yes, we are fully licensed, insured and is a member of Master Builders Association of NSW and we do guarantee our work accordingly to our contract terms. Insurance license has been verified by oneflare and can be viewed upon request.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

It is always nice to become friends with our happy clients and get invite over to be a guest.  However that is not the story we are sharing; my favourite story and most shared one is...... how once a client walked me into a house with tilted wall and sagged living-room tile floor.  It was not a perfect look, nor a perfect job.  The foundation and structure were not done properly.  We got a structural engineer to inspect and re-draw the plan then me and my boys had to re-enforce the wall and floor, in order to remove the old and replace with the new ones. It's now FIXed and is a home sweet home again.

What do you like most about your job?

We are passionate meeting our new client and work through design concepts to project completion. Each home is a new journey for us, to meet new friends and see the project/idea grow and complete and  how people enjoy their new places and get invite over for afternoon tea.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Always ask to either see if you can go and see a pervious work, that way you could maybe speak to a person who has experience with the builder and the whole renovation process. Or if it is not possible, ask to see some of the progress photos.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

People often mention that they want to improve their home for better quality of life but do not know where to start.  Well you could either talk to someone with renovation or rebuild experience over a Beer and BBQ section.  Or if you feel committed for a upgrade, just talk to an experienced builder.  We normally tell our clients where to start, which draft man, architect or independent planner to go to and give assistance in getting the right approval.  I know there are always some nasty stories about renovation problem, but if you get a reputable experienced builder; we could actually be a friend and great asset in walking through each steps with you and make it an interesting journey!

We know and have won our repeat clients and receiving positive word of mouth referrals throughout the years. So we understand the importance of happy client and how you could introduce an other future happy client to us. That is why we never cut corners and always do our job properly at where you can see and where you cannot see as well!!

We listen to our clients need, pay attention to details and don’t mind do a little extra, because this is how we have won our repeat clients and receiving positive word of mouth referrals. For us there is no job that's too big, too small or too tricky.

Your plan either with drawing or what you want to do, with fitting and dimension details and what sort of quality you want to achieve. And let me know your approximate budget.

1. Talk to someone about what you are going to be engaging into, about the process, time and amount of capital you need.  2. Get all the paper works ready. That's include a finally plan! Because changing plans on paper doesn't cost much but it is in the 3D structure, it will cost a lot!  3. Do Not get the cheapest! Get a reputable builder! Because fixing up a mess is going to cost a lot. And that is providing if you can find anyone who is willing to fix it!

That is to do the job properly with dedication and work ethic and to deliver on schedule and within given budget.  This is how we form lasting partnerships and trustworthy relationships with all of our clients.

How do you normally charge for your service?

It will depend on the renovation/ rebuild projection requirement, price could vary a lot due to different type of finishes and appliances.  However normally we can talk first to understand your need and provide you with an obligation free rough quote. Please note this quote will not be exact unless a DA approved plan has been provided.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We have an in-depth knowledge of both project managing and hand on hand site work, foundation, structural framing and finish carpentry which allow us to do full rebuild and site development. It does not limit our skill, as we were trained and work in the old school way, we do do renovation of all scales, from kitchen to bathroom makeover to decking, flooring, re-tiling, painting, asbestos removal etc.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We are licensed builder and is a proud member of MBA who has almost 20 years of industrial experiences. For the skills we do not have we collaborating with licensed trade specialists to do the job properly.  We listen and talk  to our clients to identify your needs and problems;    Take a Rodd Point project for example: The client objective being to bring the neglected existing home back to structure safe comfortable residence. Trend builders took the necessary steps to identify problems by collaborate with the qualified specialists including Structural Engineers, Pest inspector and controller, Electrician to inspect wiring etc.  We then work with these specified requirements to ensure both safety and quality are achieved. Additionally give word of experiences to floor plan and design features to push for further comfort and appealing finishing.
