  We engaged Prevailing Home to build a 70 sq meter extension to our home. The project included a large entertainment area, a bathroom, a walk-in robe, and a large storage area under the roof. I don't believe in unicorns and perfect construction works. Our project was no exception to this statement. We had problems at different stages, but Pavel (the owner of Prevailing Home) always solved them quickly, very professionally, and calmly. Variations to the contract did not exceed 8%. All variations items were mutually agreed upon. Pavel also provided free of charge some works that were not specified in our agreement. In the end, we are satisfied with the result of Prevailing Home's work and the value for money.

  Paul was very easy to deal with and honest and took pride in the end result. We were very happy to have him working on our place! Our job was not small, but not large, so was an awkward in between type of job that had a few tricky components and needed someone with flexibility and a bit of creativity. Paul maintained good lines of communication, overcame obstacles with great composure and delivered a great end result. We very happily recommend him to others!

  I engaged Paul from Prevailing Homes to re-waterproof a balcony at my Property. The initial builders did not complete the waterproofing at all and I had to go through an Insurance claim with VMIA and DBI. I ended up choosing Paul because he had experience dealing with the VMIA and I am very happy I went through Paul and his company actually. I am really satisfied and happy with the end result. He was very prompt in his responses, he kept me in the loop with regular updates, and he explained the entire process in terms that I could understand. The quote he submitted was reasonable and fair. And it was approved by the VMIA in the end. The timeframe he was able to complete the whole works in was adhered to as well. He liased with the neighbour below my Property, the Strata/Body Corporate, the Tenant and also the Property Manager and surprised me with all the solutions he came up with when things didn't go according to plan as with all construction and building plans. He managed to instill confidence and keep that rapport with all involved with the build. Paul was very professional and I would definitely highly recommend him and his company for any future building works or Building Insurance claims.
