I became and apprentice carpenter when I left school and then went on and become a builder when I was married with young children.

I love working for myself and when I take on a renovation I am on the job everyday.  It is my job and I look after it and I talk to the owners everyday and make sure they are happy with how it is going.

Every thing they need to, to feel comfortable with that builder.  A lot of people hire someone they don't like just because it is a cheap quote and it doesn't work.  it always ends in trouble.

Q.  Can you do it cheap!!.     A.   you have to remember a cheap job is a cheap Job.  You can save money on some things but sometimes you have to spend the money to get it right.

I have been doing this for a long time and I have never had any problems with any of my customers,  who usually end up becoming friends and they get me back to do more work for them later on or if they shift house.

I have a great knowledge of  the building industry as I have been building and renovating for over 25 years.

I need to see the site and any plans or drawings the customer may have,  and I need to talk to the owners so I can find out what they really want with the renovations so they can be happy with the final result.

1.  think about what you want and make sure it fits your budget. 2. don't change your mind all the time, stick to the plan.  3. maybe you can do some of the work yourself, such as removing rubbish or painting yourself, etc.

I know how much it costs to build and I would rather put on a reasonable quote and get the job, rather than be too dear and do nothing.

I give an invoice and can be paid by, cash or bank transfer, or bank cheque.

I am a carpenter by trade and I have built all my own renovations.    My wife and I have bought, renovated and sold so many houses over the years, we love it.   So we know what the customer is thinking because we have been in their shoes many times.
