All fixtures remain in their existing positions. I will complete all demolition, rubbish removal, painting, and accessories installation myself. I am seeking a qualified waterproofer and tiler to complete the waterproofing and tiling stages of the renovation. After demolition, the room will be ready for inspection of the substrate. The waterproofer will be responsible for preparing and priming all required surfaces, installing bond breakers at all junctions and penetrations, and applying a compliant waterproofing system to the shower area, the entire bathroom floor, and the required upturns behind the vanity and toilet. The waterproofing must meet AS 3740 standards, include a minimum of two coats with correct drying times, and be accompanied by a waterproofing certificate and photographic evidence of each stage. Once waterproofing is complete, the tiler will take over. The scope includes tiling the two long walls (3100 x 2500), one short wall (2000 x2500), and the full bathroom floor (3100x2000), with deductions for two door openings(2000x750). Tile layout should be confirmed before installation, including direction, grout colour, trim type, and any alignment preferences. The tiler will be responsible for achieving correct falls to the floor waste, cutting tiles neatly around all penetrations, installing trims around door frames and exposed edges, grouting all tiled areas, and applying silicone to all junctions. A clean finish is expected at completion. I will supply all tiles, grout colour, silicone colour, trims, and levelling clips if required. The contractor should supply adhesive, spacers, and all consumables. Please provide an itemised quote for waterproofing and tiling, including labour, materials you supply, estimated duration, and your availability between 15-30 May.
