It was a pure joy to have Brendan as our wedding photographer. Besides being a conscientious professional of his trade, he is also a very friendly and accomodating person, who makes it easy to have a photographer "trail" us on your special day and record the story of our wedding in pictures. We had an outdoors wedding (near Sydney Harbour Bridge) and while sunny and warm it was quite windy. Brendan scouted the best spot for the ceremony and convinced the celebrant to move it there, providing not only a relative calm (wind-free) environment but a great locale for pictures. He followed this up with pictures in the area that were at times whimsical (having the portrait quality of posed pictures) and other times breath-taking (using the Opera House and the Harbour and city skyline as a backdrop). Since Amy enjoys working with the camera, she got both a ceremony and model session out of this ;-) In addition, he took care of the preparation phases to the ceremony by meeting us at the hotel and also joining us on a small harbour cruise afterwards. All in all, we got a lot of beautiful memories out of this that we now have in both high resolution colour and B/W. We would like to add that Brendan is a gentle and caring person, who takes both his craft and the people he works for serious. But, he also succeeds at putting you at ease and manages to capture the tiny little details as well so that you not only have standard (wedding) pictures but a photo-narrative of your special day.
