07 Jul 2024Location: Port Melbourne, VICJob Description: Issue Our 2nd story tiled rooftop balcony is leaking down into the house. We are seeking a builder to fix this issue, as well as making some aesthetic improvements to the rooftop balcony area. Required Work Tiling and Waterproofing: Our understand is the existing tiles will need to be removed, the area will need to be re-water proofed, and new tiles installed. We would like the builder to advise on what changes can be made to ensure the leaking doesnt happen again, ie flashing, improved drainage. Storage Door: The rooftop balcony has a storage area attached. The door to that was poorly designed, and opens in the wind. As we use this storage area frequently to put couch cushions in and out, we would like a better door solution here. Ideally a sliding door built into the wall that doesn't need to swing out. Walls: There is some cracking to the walls that will need to be sealed and painted. Lights: We would like to replace the current in-built-wall outdoor lights. There is existing electrical wiring.
