26 Sep 2025Location: Balmain, NSWJob Description: At the side entrance there are two steps onto a deck about 1.5 metres wide which need new decking on the treads. The deck is less than 3x3 metres. There is a part that has had a plant on it where the wood isnt in good condition. At this stage I would like the deck cleaned and retooled in a dark colour to match the new steps. Black Japan is one option. 06 Oct 2023Location: Balmain, NSWJob Description: A quick summary of the work required: Rotting Balustrades - horizontally and vertically. Rotting timber boards on the front and side decks. Rotting weatherboards at several locations. At the corner by the Thomas Street entrance and possibly other places. Rotting timber underneath the front stairs at the top of the drive where the rubbish bins are. Investigation as to where the water is getting into the walls to cause the rotting. Possibly from the roof. The roof may need to be inspected to determine where the water is leaking in.
