  When quoting for the job, told me that he was honest and skilled and that I should read all of the positive feedback posts about him. Sadly, I did , and believed them. Perhaps they are all for “internal” tiling jobs -- My job was an external balcony and done in Sept-Oct 2021 Did not do the work - he was labouring while his friend, (who has his own business and told me that they “help each other out from time to time” or words to that effect) did the skilled work – screed/drainage inclination and tiling. Unfortunately, 2/3 of way through the tiling on a Saturday, it started to rain. Said he’d be back on Sunday to complete the job that would only take a couple of hours – 4 rows of tiles (around the drainage point and under the sliding door entrance to the building, requiring BCA compliance) were all that was needed. I’m not sure why, but only a couple of rows were laid on Sunday so another time needed to be arranged. Overnight, I decided that I’d feel more confident, particularly given the BCA requirement, if, who started the job, finished it. was very respectful – he listened to my concerns and assured me that the slope he’d allowed was BCA compliant. A couple of weeks later, at our mutual convenience, the job was completed by assisting. As he left, told me that it was important that I write a review. The next day, after the tiles dried, I noticed a stain about .5 m diameter (that also bled to adjacent tiles) right in the middle of the newly tiled balcony. Unsightly and very, very disappointing. It seems it was caused by a bucket of tiling glue that had been left, on the Sunday, in the middle of the newly laid tiles. It seems that the bucket had a leak and over the next 2 weeks of on on-and-off rain, and before we were able to find a mutually convenient time to finish the job, the glue seeped out and left this unsightly fawn coloured stain on grey tiles. I texted and he texted back saying he’d fix it in the coming week and reminded me again to write the Review. The Tiling supplier advised me to only use Phosphoric acid and not Sulfuric acid. I communicated this to but haven’t heard from him since. I’ve made other arrangements to address the stain, but although it has faded a bit, it’s still there! Tiling is a precision job – needing clean, organised methods during and on completion of the work. In my opinion, this company would do well to improve in this area. I would not employ this company again.

  The tiling job was done with BCA Standard in mind .Water flows to drain when it rains which is the important thing. The work quality was high no other issues other then the stain on 1 tile . Fred is a licensed and experienced tiler internal and external tiling . Tileability will address the clients concern . Tileability has completed many jobs exceeding clients expectations. Tileability also strives to keep customers happy from job quality to communication . .
