  Hamish is absolutely brilliant with pets of all sizes and breeds! Hamish doesn't just feed the animals, take them for a quick walk and bolt. He genuinely cares for the animals and creates a bond with them so they don't miss out on human interaction while you're away, taking a lot of the stress out of a holiday!

• What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

  Q: My dog does ... all the time can/how would you handle that? A: Before accepting any job I make sure to have an introductory meeting and walk with the owners present to learn the nature of the dog and how best to handle it then we go from there. Q: Can you keep my dog at your place during the day? A: Unfortunately I don't have the facilities to put pets into daycare and there's a reason kenneling pets is so expensive, however we can take care of feedings, bedding and medication whilst you are away. As part of that service if you are away for more than a few days we make sure to spend some time at your house with your pet in addition to the walks so as to help lessen any seperation anxiety.

• What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

  What area does the dog live in? Is it within my area of operations? Are there suitable facilites near by (dog beach, park etc)? What breed/size is the dog? Are there multiple dogs? Does the dog get along well with others or does it have to be strictly controlled? Are you available for me to meet the dog prior to our first outing?
