  Expected the job to be completed for the price quoted. Instead had 3 rooms half done, claims he had already done 2 coats and it would cost another $110 per room to give them a third coat. I thought Tyson had pride in is work and would have been asshamed to leave a job incomplete, I guess I was wrong. Didn't clean up after, keep finding paint drops and rub down dust around the place.

  Hi Dave, Thanks for your Review. I quoted for one colour throughout and then remembered you saying something about the wet areas going to white but you hadn’t confirmed it on the colour selection sheet you sent through with our Terms. Australian standards is two coats over pre-existing paint and 3 coats over bare (sealer first). I painted all rooms their 2 coats and as it states on all our Proposals, coverage is based on colour choices. White over dark won’t work unfortunately so a variation can be accepted by the owner if they wish for more coats to get coverage. It also states additional coats and costings can be declined, (obviously). You declined the additional coats and mentioned that you would do it instead, which is fine. I do have pride in my work so it does annoy me not to be able to finish them but I’m not a charity. I’m a business just like Coles and like Coles, if you want more bread it needs to be paid for. Just because you’re not full, it’s not their fault. As far as mess goes, your house was broomed out . But yes the carpet areas were left as you were getting them replaced 2 days after I finished. Apologies for not cleaning that up but to me it did seem a little pointless. My apologies for the paint spots I missed. Sometimes in different light, spots can be missed. We are always more than happy to pop back to fix any issues.
