Location: Brunswick, VICJob Description: The apartment is in a block of 11 units. The building was constructed in the early 1970s and has shallow footings. In the past it has moved causing serious internal/external cracking of walls. The building is now much more stable following extensive works directed by a structural engineer. However, some movement still occurs and this is exacerbated by long dry weather spells.The extensive cracking that occurred in our apartment was repaired about 4 years ago. The new cracks are nowhere near as severe but have occurred in the same places as the cracking that was repaired a few years ago.
