Yes we are insured. And all Jim's work comes with a 1 year Jim's workmanship warranty backed by the Jim's Franchising Group. Our spray on coating systems come with a 7.5 year material warranty.

We once had a customer who was dead set on wanting outdoor tiles. But didn't want the risk of them lifting or cracking. We achieved the exact same look of the tiles but on plain concrete.

The finished project. Being able to achieve looks of exposed aggregate or coloured concrete, even pavers, using just our spray on systems.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Ask how long they will back the product they are applying for. A lot of contractors will apply a pavement paint which likely wont last the year with any kind of vehicle traffic at all. Ask if it need to be regularly sealed and maintained. If it does this means it's not UV stable and will fade

Is the coating cement based. The short answer is No. Cement based coatings are the most common in the industry. But they tend to lack longevity and UV stability, requiring them to be regularly sealed to remain intact. We use a water based coating, specially modified for pavements and UV stability.

Size (in meters squared), slope, condition, type of surface e.g concrete, asphalt, any existing coatings/ toppings, crack repair, colour required and style required. Contact us for colour and style charts.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Have your driveway pressure cleaned before we come to do spray on coatings. You will however be liable if the coating was to fail due to a dirty substrate.

We can spruce up your driveway with a clean (up to 50m2) and decorative accent (Diamonds, compass etc.) for the flat price of $600. Additional charges for every m2 over 50m2 cleaned.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We request payment is made after the job is done. Payment to be made in full on completion by EFT to designated account. Other methods on application.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Application of coatings and resin bound stone paving. There are both highly durable and efficient alternatives to plain concrete or pavers. No tripping hazard, they are non slip, no loose stones and no moving or sinking and raising.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We have 30 years experience in the roading and pavement business with extensive work with commercial grade coating systems. We stand by our products and offer the warranty as a result of our training in the systems.
