Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes I am insured up to 10 million dollars and I can guarantee my work within reason. I can't guarantee some things like for example if I lay turf and the client forgets to water it or has no irrigation and it dies, then I cannot be held responsible for these sorts of things.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Used to be in sales and before that hospitality. Can be frustrating and high pressure work. I like being outside in the fresh air getting exercise and seeing the satisfaction a client gets when they see their garden cleaned up.

1. have an empty green bin as green waste removal fees do happen if there is no other option. 2. If no green bin, consider a mulch pile or compost bin. 3. Pick up kids toys or dog poo that may be strewn across the lawn, it takes time to remove these items and the time is money.

My prices are already extremely competitive for a business which pays tax & insurance. Some out there may be cheaper,but they may not be insured or paying tax to the government and collecting welfare whilst doing that. It makes it unfair on the rest of us doing the right thing.

Its below what Jim's charge, as I have low overheads compared to my competition (no franchise fees, employees etc), I am then able to pass the savings onto my clients.

I generally charge $50 an hour unless otherwise specified for general lawn and garden care. For more specialized services it depends on the job and materials required.
