They got on with the job, communicated well, were friendly and efficient. They shrink wrapped the sofas, mattresses and the fridge, which meant they arrived clean and free of scratches at the new destination. It was an extremely hot day, 43 degrees, but they didn't complain, just got on with the job. First the good things - The movers had a can-do attitude right to the end, The lead guy of the two was fantastic and right on the task and made the most of his time . Then the not so great - One of the movers was new to the job and obviously needed to warm up to the task. Our last move with another company went bang-bang-bang...and we completed the move in 4 hours with 2 men. Does it really take 8 hours to move a 2 BR apartment? To help the movers and our pockets, we helped move all the boxes and furniture from upstairs down, carry the less bulky furniture and boxes to and from the truck, and have the movers leave the boxes in one common area at the new place. Work might have been more efficient with a trolley to load up (lots of flat ground to cross) and if they did not have to keep re-parking the truck.
