Job Description: - - Garden wall needed in the front yard to level out the grass- Currently the front yard slopes down from the house to the pathway. We would like a limestone block wall installed alongside the pathway, then the space infilled with soil so that the space between the house and the edge of the wall (next to the path) is level. We would also like a letter box built into this wall on the corner (letterbox front & internal aluminium box to be provided). Dimensions: The wall would need to be approx 35cm tall from the path (lowest point) for the surface to be level. The letter box section would need to be a bit higher. The wall needs to be built in an L shape, with the long side being approx 6.5m long along the footpath & the short side being approx 2m running along the driveway. Ideally the wall would only be as thick as it needed to be - 1 block ideally. We'd like to avoid an unduly thick wall to maximise the space for grass at the top. The retic in the area has already been capped off and marked out. The retic does not need to be reinstalled following completion of the wall, as this will be done as part of later works with another contractor. We'd like the job done as soon as possible please. Many thanks

Job Description: - - Garden wall needed in the front yard to level out the grass - - (picture of the space attached - note, the photo makes everything look a lot bigger than it actually is!) Currently the front yard slopes down from the house to the pathway. We would like a wall installed alongside the pathway, then the space infilled with soil so that the space between the house and the edge of the wall (next to the path) is level. We would also like a letter box built into this wall on the corner. Dimensions: The wall would need to be approx 60cm tall from the path (lowest point) for the surface to be level. The letter box section would need to be a bit higher. The wall needs to be built in an L shape, with the long side being approx 6.5m long along the footpath & the short side being approx 2m running along the driveway. Ideally the wall would only be as thick as it needed to be - we'd like to avoid an unduly thick wall to maximise the space for grass at the top. Materials & finish: We would like the wall the be rendered & painted the same colour as the house's feature wall. We don't mind what stone goes under the rendering - whatever is cheapest & adequately strong is our preference. The wall must be treated with waterproofing on both sides before being rendered. Other work required to install the wall: Some medium to large agavae plants would likely need to be removed to make space for the wall. We would likely want them re-planted at the completion of the wall. The retic in the area has already been capped off and marked out. The retic does not need to be reinstalled following completion of the wall, as this will be done as part of later works with another contractor. We'd like the job done as soon as possible please.
