I engaged John McKenna to do some work at my house at Safety Beach. It was a big job he had to source a fence and install it - the earth was very had to dig into. John did a very good job and painting the whole inside of the house and a lot of different repairs to get the house ready for sale. There was a strict deadline to complete the repairs and he finished a head of time and kept his costs down saving us thousands of dollars and he finished ahead of time . We sold the house for fifteen thousands dollars more then we thought it was going to sell for . He communicated with me through the project was was required and he went belong what was required to finish the job and saved me thousands of dollars, I would recommend John for any job and will be again in the future - more then happy to answer any questions you might have! I understand you have to put a lot of faith in a builder and rest reassured you won't have any problems with John!

Job Description: I recently discovered a water leak at my property in Buderim during the recent heavy rain. I had a plumber attend and investigate, and after checking the plumbing they advised that the issue does not appear to be a pipe leak. Instead, they believe the water ingress is likely related to water pressure and drainage issues behind a retaining wall. The water is entering the subfloor / cavity area of the house, and there is visible water pooling and soil washout along the wall, particularly during heavy rainfall. The plumber suggested that the retaining wall or drainage behind it may be failing or not draining correctly, allowing water to build up and push through. Im looking for someone experienced with retaining walls, drainage, or structural landscaping to: Inspect the retaining wall and surrounding drainage Identify the cause of the water ingress Advise on the best repair solution (e.g., drainage installation, wall repair, waterproofing, or replacement if required) Provide a quote for the necessary works Access is available to the subfloor area, where the water is currently visible. Ive attached the photos provided by the plumber which show the affected area and water pooling. Please let me know if you would be able to come out to inspect and provide a quote, and your availability.
