Location: Moorooka, QLDJob Description: We would like to build out a TV recess on one of the walls in our lounge room. The current wall is too shallow to recess into, so would need to be built out a little, then the TV and soundbar recessbuilt withinit. I have an image/drawing showing what is needed but it doesn't allow me to add it here - there is a existing large flat wall: plasterboard to be removed, then some new framing built to extend the wall out for the depth of a TV and soundbar. Then needs new plasterboard to close it all in. In terms of electrical needs, we don't need TV antenna to be added here, but we will need power where the TV will be mounted (hidden behind this existing wall is some old wiring for the previous a/c (I think) and also once the plasterboard is removed it should be easy to access other wiring for the fridge and the laundry areas). We don't need painting. We also need a hidden conduit for cabling from the soundbar recess to the TV, to pass through cables from the soundbar. Happy to source additional trades for any part of the job that is out of your scope of service (just let me know what you can/can't do).
