We’re Sweet Ade, a six piece Melbourne based jazz band with an unusual, colourful range of instruments and a broad, diverse repertoire. Between us we play recorders, reeds (soprano and tenor saxophones, clarinet), guitar, mandolin, drums, washboard, ukulele, bass guitar and vocals. Our music ranges from familiar jazz standards to early Australian jazz, as well as a miscellany of tunes from jazz and elsewhere, all interpreted in our idiosyncratic, cheerful and energetic style.
