It was so special having my dear friend Kylie perform the role of our marriage celebrant. We'd been friends for many years but there was never any doubt she would be the one to marry us. We were incredibly impressed with how professional and detailed Kylie was in her role as our celebrant. I found it very difficult to find 'the celebrant' as it was very overwhelming where to begin... to ask or search for or who was a genuine celebrant and believed in their work. I was on the 'brides' Facebook page and each Facebook post that mentioned 'celebrant' was swamped with competitive celebrants writing long paragraphs promoting themselves, but it was Lisa who caught my eye in the comments. She was the the only genuine and real person who listened and answered the Facebook status properly. So I messages Lisa and since that moment we met she has been so helpful, kind and supportive. Someone who believes in their work. She understood that we had cultural aspects to play apart on our day and she supported this during our ceremony.
