Peter arrived an hour earlier than had been arranged, i.e. 8 am instead of 9 am (teenage grandson still asleep (school hols), hence reason for making it 9 am). As we live in a townhouse he found it very awkward to negotiate the stairs with his "gammy leg" and was dismayed that there wasn't a bar to hang on to. I feel he should only take on low-set residences as he is not young or agile but certainly did the best he could, however I did notice a gouge out of our timber floor downstairs from his big machine and also a chip out of a door frame upstairs from the 'wand' I presume.
