    Fitted lights and extraction fan in the wrong place, even though it was clearly marked with an X marks the spot. My builder had to rectify their work. Fitted new light switched in the bathroom and toilet which were coming of the walls by 3mm. Not safe at all, so also had to be fixed. All 3 new installed lights flicker constantly. They refused to come back to check what the problem is. Instead they chased me for payment and threatened to send their invoice to a collection agency. I paid their invoice but will have to get another company out to fix all their work.

    With all due respect to this reviewer, we would like to explain to all who have taken the time to read this review, why we believe this to be an unfair and untrue account. Our company provides a 12 months workmanship guarantee and adheres to the code of ethics set by Master Electricians Australia in order to maintain our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee record. We have been in business for over 25 years with this being the only scathing review ever left. It’s disturbing that this reviewer has left this claim some 7 months after our company completed these electrical works and we have not been made aware of any issues pertaining to our actual workmanship. We cannot guarantee work done by other builders or trades nor can we provide a guarantee on items purchased by others such as the lights in this case, but we can guarantee that they will be installed correctly and in accordance with the wiring rules. We wish to remind the reviewer that Zillman Electrical did not cut the holes for your extraction fan and lights, instead this was done by the builder to save you money on electrical labour. At no time was any of our work unsafe nor left unsafe. Our work is strictly and regularly audited. To-date Zillman Electrical has held an impeccable safety record. We were engaged by the reviewer’s builder to perform a scope of electrical works, however the reviewer varied what the builder had allowed in their quotation and asked us directly to do more work than what the contract allowed which made the reviewer responsible to pay for these extras. This is what we believe the reviewer is not happy with. It’s disappointing that after we carried out this extra work on the reviewers request, as well as satisfying the reviewer’s request to provide a discount of $70.00 to our already reasonably priced invoice of only $250.00, that we still had to send several payment reminders over the course of 4 months before it was settled. Our company tries it’s best to satisfy our customers’ requests, however we are a business and we still have to pay our suppliers for the materials we use as well as our accredited master electricians for the work they perform. We respectfully request that the reviewer contacts us on 07 3420 4422 so that we may further understand his grievances.
