Professional, Punctual, Friendly and helpful. A quick, convenient and pleasant experience from start to finish. Your photos turned out great and provided so many options for us to pick from! Love your work. Will call back again! :) Thank you! repliedYasmin Tordal Photography18 Apr 2020

Yasmin may be a nice real-estate photographer, but she should not accept jobs to photograph fine artwork. Yasmin was polite to work with but she could not deliver the quality, despite my clear instructions on what was required from the shoot and her appearing very confident that she could provide exactly what we were asking for. Initially Yasmin was polite when I informed her the finished product was crooked and not useable for our purposes and she agreed to retake some of the key photos. Once Yasmin sent us the finished product from the second shoot it was apparent that she was not able to produce quality photos of our artwork at all. We offered her to try to take straight photos one more time, or asked that she return our deposit so we could secure another photographer. She declined to do both, stating that she felt she had 'done as good as job as she could do', she further declined to return our deposit on the grounds that, 'she had already spent the money'. Yasmin's photography has cost our business way too much time, seeing us miss important deadlines; and has taken our entire budget for photography but delivered patchy-at-best results - this has created a real challenge for our small business. I could not recommend Yasmin Tordal Photography for any growing business. repliedYasmin Tordal Photography14 Feb 2020
I am extremely disappointed that Jude has left me such an untrue account of events. I have tried to resolve all the issues that Jude had in a very timely manner, accommodating her request for 2nd shoot date as she had an issue with ONE of the photos, and delivering edits within 2 business days. 10 days after I delivered the work (and 2 days before her own deadline), she contacted me with issues regarding the editing and cropping of artworks (multiple) that she hadn't mentioned before. I dropped everything and fixed the issues on the same day. Yet she is blaming me for missing her deadlines... As for producing quality photos of their artwork, Jude has confirmed via email that the quality was fine, and she already had postcards printed from my photos and on display when I came to their art studio to re-take the ONE image she was not happy with after the first shoot. She also confirmed the quality of the photo she has an issue with was fine, just that she had an issue with the cropping, which in my opinion I have fixed. So it is a blatant lie that I have not produced quality photos that cannot be used for their business. The issue that Jude still has is with ONE photo of a large artwork. I've explained to her that the issue cannot be fixed with cropping as the actual canvas is not stretched 100% straight on the frame, which is why I cannot get it 100% straight on my photo or edited crop of the artwork, so even if I went back a third time to take more photos, the issue cannot be rectified by cropping or editing. I am unable to defend my work by posting the photos online as proof of the issue, as we have a contract that only Jude and her artist can publish the pictures. Their art studio being 45 minutes away (Point Cook to Prahran), I have spent double the amount of hours (3+ hours for each shoot and 3 x photo editing) so am in no position to refund any deposit, as I am currently at a loss for this job. They paid me $310, my rate for 2 hrs of product photography, and I have spent closer to 15 hrs trying to keep this customer happy.Trudie C

Yasmin is an awesome easy-going lady we did some family photos with recently, and this is the only time my son has ever smiled to take photos, so thank you very much for some beautiful photosRacheal

Great family portrait session. Needed direction and advice for our session in regards to positioning and smiling tips etc which Yasmin happily offered. Very happy with her professional approach would highly recommend.
Frequently asked questions
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
In my family and portrait photography I try to keep a fun, relaxed and spontaneous atmosphere in order to get your family to relax to capture natural and loving moments as well as any personality or cheekiness that might appear. For product photography, I focus on client's brief for best photos.
