Lena is a qualified Naturopath and is passionate about educating people on “getting back to basics” to obtain and maintain good health. Lena has raised her family in the Hills area over the last 20 years and has now set up Wise Health and Wellness in Castle Hill. Lena is also a chemical engineer qualifying from Sydney University with a BE(Chem) after which she spent many years in industry in various roles including OH&S. It was during this time, and, as she began her role as a mother of three children that her interest in natural health was sparked . The choice to study complementary medicine came later as she began to understand the importance of good health and developed a desire to help others achieve the same. The idea of transitioning an interest into a career made sense and thus Wise Health and Wellness had its beginnings. Lena sees herself as a “Sensible” Naturopath. Realizing that we are all individuals with different circumstances, lifestyles and genetic makeup, Lena’s approach is to take each client individually at a pace and method that is comfortable and realistic for each individual to improve health and well being. After assessing your current state of health, some diagnostic tools may be used to establish your baseline so that improvement in your health and conditions may be monitored. Individualized treatment plans are prescribed which may include Herbal Medicines, Nutritional Supplements, Massage Therapy Sessions as well as diet and lifestyle advice which fits in with your individual circumstances and budget. Lena’s Current Qualifications in Complementary Medicine include; AdVance Diploma of Naturopathy Cert IV in Remedial Massage Mindd Certified Practitioner Ultra Lite Practitioner Lena is an accredited member of The Australian Traditional Medicine Society.
