Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Our company and employees are fully insured. Our work comes with a 7 year workmanship warranty. The hinges we use come with a 3 year manufacturers warranty, and all other hardware carries an industry standard 1 year warranty. We've never had any issues with our product in our 30 years of operation.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Michael, the owner, originally took on a glass and glazing apprenticeship straight out of high school. He saw a growing market in glass balustrade and pool fencing and as hardware was beginning to become cheaper and mass imported there was an opportunity for a successful company.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We have had a few customers who have had work done at their house and then have recommended us to their children and their friends etc. Sometimes we will get 4 or 5 jobs from the same group of people just by providing good service to the initial customer. Lots of neighbours of customers etc.

What do you like most about your job?

We take glass fencing very seriously. The applications of glass fencing are to protect the lives of people and children. Pool fencing must be installed correctly and have quality and long term operational hinges. We take pride in the fact that we are protecting families from injuries and worse.

Questions such as; What warranty do you offer? What type of hardware does your company use? Have you ever had any issues with your hardware? How long has your company been around for?

"Will the glass explode?"  We have never had any panels explode, and most of the hype around exploding toughened glass is due to low quality products that have either failed on their own or have been installed insufficiently or incorrectly by inexperienced or unqualified companies.

30 Years of experience and customer feedback doesn't lie. Our companies main source of work is from referrals, which is a testament to our quality of service.

We have a lot of experience in the Glass and Glazing industry. Having 30 + years of experience gives us a larger resource, knowledge and contact base. Having this allows to come up with tailored solutions for each individual customer, as every job is different and thus faces its own challenges.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We need to know the type of surface the fence will be installed in to. The location of the job. Whether there are any areas that may be considered standing points which would compromise the final height of the pool fence or balustrade. Whether you are near the ocean or have ocean breezes.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

You can save money by having supports for the fence already fit. So if the fence is going into a tiled surface, ensure there is a suitable concrete base underneath the tiles or in the ground. If it is to go onto a deck, ensure there is 140 x 90 mm structural timber doubled up; 90mm support depth.

Being one of the largest Glass Fencing companies in Sydney, and because of our long term relationships with suppliers and wholesalers, our outgoing costs are a lot lower than other companies. This means we can use the highest quality product available on the market while staying competitively priced

How do you normally charge for your service?

Every job is calculated differently as every job has it's own complications. Generally we charge on a per lineal metre basis, but there always additional costs for things like additional gates, custom fabricated panels for unusual areas, etc.

We specialise in Frameless Glass Balustrading. Which includes Frameless Glass Pool Fencing, Glass Balcony Balustrades, Glass Stair Railings, Glass Gates and Glass Barriers.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We are a family company, so we only have qualified family members who do the installations. We do not use sub-contractors, so you can be assured of the quality. Michael, the owner, actually teaches the Glass & Glazing trade at TAFE nsw and wrote the current course taught for Balustrading.
