  The removalist were very nice, however in regards to efficiency it really lacked. I helped bring all my furniture from storage down to the ground floor via elevator. There was two guys but only one was really working. My partner and I then helped unload at the new address. What was quoted 4 hours ended up taking around 8. When making payment I received a comment of “ there was a very long walk from drop off point to the elevator, we were going to charge you but didn’t” I was kind of shocked considering I had assisted so much in this move do to inefficiency.

  Thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. At the pick-up location, there was lift access and all items had to be brought down from the apartment using the elevator before being loaded into the truck. In addition, many of the items were not packed or organised, with a lot of loose and smaller belongings. When items are not packed into boxes, the moving process naturally takes longer because each item must be handled individually. At the drop-off location, the distance from where the truck was parked to the lift was approximately 300 metres. Our team had to walk this distance multiple times carrying items, then take the lift up, and afterwards walk an additional 30 metres from the lift to the apartment. This type of long walking distance significantly increases the time required to complete a move. In many cases, this can incur additional charges, however we did not charge you extra for the long walk. The move was originally estimated at around 4 hours, based on standard access and typical moving conditions. However, due to the long walking distance, lift access at both locations, and unpacked items, the job took approximately 6.5 hours to complete. During the move, you and your partner also chose to assist our team, which some customers do to help finish quicker and reduce the total time. Both of our movers were working throughout the move to complete the job as efficiently as possible. That said, we still appreciate your feedback and thank you again for choosing our company.
