  The worst Removalist experience in my life. Top removals downgraded my move one day before their arrival, they subcontracted to a company without any permission from me. The truck was so small it needed 3 pick ups and drop offs. They asked for extra cash to speed up the process. The drop off was even worse. A dedicated time of 1pm was agreed months prior. They did not start the drop off until 9pm in the evening. I was left in tears, the stress was unbearable. I urge anyone never to use this company. One star is generous, a negative category would be much more appropriate.

  Extremely disappointed. The sales guy is great- it's a pity it stops there. The 2 gentlemen moving our house were over an hour late. They clearly did not have the strength or experience to move a house full of furniture (my husband and i do a better job and he ended up helping them). They damaged a dozen items of quality furniture, along with our newly built/installed door, and took about 4 hours longer than the people we used previously (same furniture/requirements). They tried to charge extra in cash as a 'stairs fee' (which their conditions say they don't charge, and we only have 3 steps up to the front door, not stairs). At the end of the day we were so worried watching them try to handle our furniture (i didn't see them use a moving blanket or lifting aids once), we just told them to put it in the carport- they virtually threw it in and we spent 3 hours getting it in order and then of course had to get it into the house still. I have provided photos of damaged items for insurance purposes and received an email advising that i would hear from someone, though have not. Suprisingly, they haven't sent me a receipt , so i have included an image of the way they left my furniture as verification.

  1) Organize all the packing in advance 2) Disassemble all the furniture that needs to be taken apart 3) Get all the items to the front of the house Of course you dont have to do all of that, the removalists can definitely do it but if you do it you'll save up.
