I once quoted on a local project and actually missed the job because of a much cheaper price, I received a phone call 6months later to come in and re quote the job (including taking down the previous landscape works, that had been done i had quoted on) I don't know if the client remembered me or my quote- i didn't ever broach the topic- You get what you pay for, cheap is not always the best path!

3 ways to save some money before I get to the job and quote would be: 1- make sure the project area is clear of rubbish and grasses 2- if you would like to buy any of the materials for the project, just let me know and I may be able to even get you TRADE PRICE! 3- Have a realistic budget in mind for the project, this way we can try to get as much done if not all for you.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I believe the quality of my work and the longevity of the work is the most important thing when considering the right person for the job, there are a lot of competitors out there happy to charge at the bottom end of the scale, and in my experience, you get what you pay for. I'm very reasonably priced and you get what we sign off on, all scope of works signed off. So its  'Clear and Concise'.

I prefer to charge by the project, however it's sometimes a little more practical to charge by the hour for my landscape maintenance services. I prefer to view all my work and meet clients before submitting a quote.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in Retaining Walls, and Raised Garden Beds- (sandstone, pine, masonry block, besser block, boulder, other natural stone) I also do paths, step stones, garden edges, turfing, and paved areas. I love following through a project from start to finish- my favourite is landscaping a whole house from scratch.

Fully Licensed Structural Landscaper My background is on the land, dairy farming in the local area, we also had an extensive fern nursery. My motto of 'Local Punctual Honest' are qualities attained from my time on the land. I'm local born and bred, my quotes are punctual, and hard work keeps you honest ;) - I worked with a local successful landscaper for 5 years before starting my own business. Relevant qualifications also completed: - Dip Viticulture - Certificate III in Landscape Construction
