What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Basically what services do you require and how big is the job? Below is how we find that out. 1. Confirm your complete address - So we can view it online to get a better understanding 2. Confirm how many levels, bedrooms and bathrooms - Online might not be accurate so this helps us determine the size. 3. Have you had a professional cleaning service before? If yes, when was the last time that you had a service? - This lets us know the general level state of your home. A deep clean may be required for your first service before we can move on to regular maintenance cleaning. 4. What are your priorities? For example, would you like a basic regular cleaning service (it includes the kitchen, bathrooms and floor cleaning), or would you like something else like dusting the furniture, ceiling fans, etc.? 5. Is your home furnished or unfurnished? 6. Are you moving in/out, or is it a bond cleaning service? 7. Do you want carpet cleaning or Window Cleaning services? 8. Inspection. The above gets us all the way there in most cases but sometimes an in-person inspection is required.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Depending on the service you book things like picking up kids toys or washing would enable us to spend more of the time cleaning. For example, if you book a 2 hr service and are hoping to get your bathroom and kitchen cleaned, dusting throughout and floors vacuumed and mopped. Adding another task like tidying up toys and clothes etc so we can dust and vacuum/mop might take up 15 minutes of that 2hrs. You have options here though: 1. Direct us to tidy and clean the required tasks and you're happy for the charge to reflect the total time worked. (2.25 hrs based on the example) 2. Reduce the tasks or set priorities which we'll work to during the allocated time. You only want 2 hrs and are happy if everything doesn't get done. (2hrs, but maybe the dusting is left due to time constraints) 3. Tidy up things that may slow us down so we can focus on the items you want done within the 2 hours. (2 hrs - just the required tasks based on the example) 4. Consider booking one of our packages. These are not time-constrained. We're done once the tasks are completed and you pay a flat rate.
