  Terrible experience. Dishonest business. Booking : 7.04.25 Job Description: Bond Cleaning and Pest Control ( 3 bedroom duplex 2 bathrooms ) Cost : $639 full payment upfront They arrived late, demanded full payment upfront, didn't do anything, left rubbish in the garage, open air conditioners, dirty sink in the kitchen and left after half hour. They made me and my daughters very uncomfortable. We ended up cleaning rubbish they left and hiring another cleaning company at extra cost and time of work. It's been two weeks and we still didn't get a refund. They don't reply messages and don't answer the phone. Impossible to get in touch. Absolute nightmare.

  Hi Rebecca, I hope you’re doing well. The review you gave us is really disappointing. You initially provided false information and hid the actual condition of your property just to book the job at a lower price. But when our team arrived at your home, your oven and kitchen were in extremely poor condition — it would have taken a lot of time and effort to clean them properly. We didn’t “increase” your price — we simply gave you a new quotation based on the actual condition of your property. It was completely your choice whether you wanted to go ahead with the revised price or not — we did not force you to proceed with the job. Since you refused, our team left without doing the work. Now, the review you left only harms our business, and it doesn’t benefit you in any way. If the review was based on genuine circumstances, we would have understood — but this is totally false. We spent our time and fuel to reach your property, and we didn’t even take a single dollar from you, yet you still posted a review, which is really unfair.

  I recently booked Shine Bond Cleaning Service for a bond cleaning on Sunday, 23rd March 2025. The initial quoted price was $339, which I agreed to after sharing photos of the apartment. However, the experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The team rescheduled the job to 12 PM but didn’t arrive until 2 PM. Upon arrival, they informed me the balcony wasn’t included in the quote, which I hadn’t been told earlier. They also agreed to clean the fridge, oven, and appliances, but these were neglected. After going for lunch, the team didn’t begin cleaning until 3 PM, and despite assuring they would not leave until I was satisfied, their attitude was poor. They frequently took personal calls, left their shoes on the carpet, and made uncomfortable comments. By 6:30 PM, when we briefly left the apartment, the team had left without notifying us, leaving the keys inside. The cleaning was subpar and incomplete. I called the manager, who promised to send another team the next day at 9 AM, but the replacement cleaner arrived at 1:30 PM and confirmed much of the work was still pending. After further discussion, the manager initially promised a full refund, but I’ve since received no updates, and the refund has been delayed. As a result, my partner and I had to clean the apartment ourselves, and we incurred additional costs and stress, including lost wages and extra rent due to the delayed move-out. Overall, I am frustrated by Shine Bond Cleaning's lack of professionalism, poor service, and delay in processing a refund. I would never recommend this company.
