Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are fully insured. We carry a Goods in Transit Insurance which covers should we drop something during loading or unloading and in the event of an accident/rollover with the truck but it is not fully comprehensive and we strongly advise customers to take an independent insurance.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I kind of fell into it after helping a friend who also has a removal business. I liked the aspect of helping people. It's a very honest job, hard work but can be very rewarding.

I do but it won't allow me enough words. There are a couple of customers that have bought me to tears. Sometimes people move because of very sad circumstances.

What do you like most about your job?

I like helping people. I especially like doing moves for old people. I get a real buzz out of making a process than can be stressful, easy and stress free. I like driving away from a big move after really impressing the customer with our skill at packing their furniture into the .truck.

Customers should most definitely read past reviews. There are also a lot of brokers in the removal industry who will pretend to be the actual carrier but will then sub-contract the job, especially with Interstate. Make sure you book with the actual removal company and not a broker.

Customers are often very keen to know about timings for their move. This is easy enough to guess with local moves but interstate removals are hard to schedule due to the long distances involved. I would advise customers to set a date but not pressure their carrier over exact delivery times.

We just know removals very well. We are not a man with a van operation and our pride is in the fact that we consistently do a great job. We don't have any/many reviews on this platform but if you google our business name you will find many great and recent and updated reviews.

We are an honest and professional removals team. We only work with experienced staff who know how to give good service to our customers. We know your move inside out!

For an interstate move we need a comprehensive list of items so we can calculate the volume of your goods. For all moves we need a detailed description of the access situation at both ends of the move so we can assess the amount of staff we need to complete the job safely and efficiently.

Customers can help save money by properly pre-packing their items. We will send you some notes on packing which help in this regard. Purchase move insurance, this helps to lessen stress for both us and you. Moving is expensive so getting rid of items that are no longer of use helps reduce the cost.

Our charges reflect a business that is fully insured, pays above award wages, super, and any other staff expenses. We also calculate the repairs and maintenance of our trucks into our fees, We are not the cheapest carrier but we are very fair considering the high standard of service we offer.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Local work is charged by the hour, interstate work is charged by the volume taken in the truck. All of our quotes are based on reasonable ground floor access. Difficult access may incur extra handling fees for extra labour costs.

We specialise in container removals and container storage, local and interstate removals using both the road and rail network. We offer pre-packing service along with after move cleaning.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We will not send you a driver unless that person fully experienced and trained in the art of packing furniture for transport. We have extremely high standards and as the owner of this business my aim is to receive positive reviews so well trained staff are a must for us.
