Rapid tests are undertaken every day for 3 days leading up to the wedding. If a positive test is received then I work with the client to obtain a suitable replacement photographer

It's a question I get asked a lot and its simple to answer...I fall in love   with every couple I meet,  with their families and  with providing all my couples with the support and encouragement they needed to create dreamy photographs that they can look back on with pride and excitement.

What do you like most about your job?

Meeting people and being able to share in such a momentous event like a wedding is incredibly special. I love hearing how a couple met, what their plans are for their day and getting to know them. The more I know a couple the better I can make their experience with me and the better their photos and day will be.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

I don't know that there is a specific question that someone could or should ask except "are you available on this date". Its probably more a matter of sitting down with the photographer and actually having a conversation with them to see if you are a good fit.  If you're unsure about them, ask if they would be willing to do a small mini session with you both so you can get a feel for what it would be like to work with them, with the expectation of no images passing hands.

Probably, what's my worst experience been with a wedding? Have I ever lost images or missed moments.  My answer is there are no bad experiences, just learning curves and no I have never lost images (touch wood) and not yet (touch wood again).

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I have been photographing weddings for 12 years and never missed or been late to a wedding. My own wedding photographer was late and forgot her gear and the worry, fury and anxiety I felt is something I will never wish on a couple. So I always make sure that I am organised, early, with batteries charged.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

I am a people person, I love to get to know a couple as much as I can. When you book with me, I start working on your day straight away, with organising site visits, social media stalking (its helpful trust me), vendor contact and introductions.  As the only vendor to be with you for most of your wedding day, its important that we build a friendship before the day, that way I get to know whether my mum jokes will be appropriate.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I have priced my packages so that my clients get the best value for money.  for example my Dreamy package (top package) is valued at $10,116, but the package price is $5,990, saving $4,126

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I request a deposit of 30% to be paid at the time of booking, and the remainder is paid 2 weeks before the wedding. I am happy to make life easier by offering payment plans if requested so that my couples aren't lumped with a large payment 2 weeks before the wedding.
