How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I used to go on long rides to enjoy nature and its beauty which eventually led me to buy a camera and capture beautiful landscapes. I never knew then that the camera enhance the experience and let me see the world from a new perspective. This was probably 15 years ago.   My love for photography grew since then leading to bootstrapping a small photography business 3 years ago. I have enjoyed working with many happy customers and can in the process, have again few good friends too.

What do you like most about your job?

I would say I love every aspect of photography business, from talking to the customers, knowing a little bit about them, tailoring a photoshoot that suits every customer , editing and ordering prints from the business that I collaborated with. And the most when the customer love the final prints or digital gallery.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

It depends on type of photoshoot you are looking for.   For weddings photography:  It is really important to discuss with photographer about the wedding run sheet and any particular photos you like to capture and ensure there is enough time for it .   We always recommend starting with getting ready shots of Bride and Groom , followed by arrival at ceremony , the ceremony itself , group shots with friends and family , walking in to reception and first dance   We are also now providing complimentary short video highlights a part of photography package itself . So it would be a great option to have it .   I also recommend getting a Lay Flat album . You really enjoy the photos when printed and speaking from personal experience, the photography cost is nothing compared when you print the photos and enjoy them for ever.   For Family photoshoots: Please discuss with photographer about, family members, if you have little once, parks/outdoors may be best, as they will be happy playing around and gives me chance to capture them in their best laughs   For Portraits and Glamour / Boudoir photoshoots :  Please discuss about your ideas and how many photos you are expecting.  This can help me design a shoot to suit you best.  Like , Studio shoot vs Outdoor . Parks vs Beach vs both .  Outfit changes etc.  I really love taking time and work with you in creating artistic photos. These sessions allow to creating desired lighting and shadows based on the vibe you are looking for.

I have been shooting commercially for over 4 years in and around Melbourne and I have gained many happy customers over time. There is nothing more that I love than seeing you happy with best shots and tailored photography plans.

I have a keen eye for beauty, and with my immense experience, I can think fast and compose the best shot, even in time-poor scenarios.  If I'm working on Portraits, I like to understand what the customer is looking for, and how they want to use the photos and research & tailor the photoshoot to create artistic photos.  I use all professional gear , 2 pro cameras , about 9 lenses , lot of lighting equipment , light modifiers etc, so that I'm fully equiped all times to capture best shots and also have back-ups.
