  I’m not convinced this business is legitimate, and based on similar reviews, I would avoid. They downgraded our service without informing us (from a 4 hour deep clean to a 3 hour general clean), which we only learnt after we expressed disappointment in their service. More than half of the advertised inclusions weren’t completed of both a deep and general clean, and what was done was poorly done — no vacuuming under furniture, missed areas behind the sink, poorly cleaned edges, and marks left behind. When I pointed out that areas under the entertainment unit and behind curtains weren’t cleaned, we were told they “don’t move heavy items” - apparently curtains are heavy now! It is really the bare minimum to vacuum underneath furniture (not items requiring lifting). When we raised this with photos the same day, we were told only 3 hours had been done instead of 4 and that they had “accidentally” done a general clean, despite our booking confirmation being for a 4-hour deep clean. We were promised an extra hour with the same cleaner, but no one showed up. Our detailed list of missed items (even by their own general clean standards) was ignored. Instead, they responded with distant photos taken from outside each room as “proof” of cleaning, while dismissing our close-up photos showing dust and grime and even said "Minor areas highlighted in your photos that pertain to deep cleaning checklist would have been addressed in a 4-hour deep clean" which is laughable because that is the exact service WE HAD BOOKED! And based on the photos attached, I disagree calling them "minor". It is clear they just cut corners at every turn and then blame any customer who complains. They have a zero refund policy for a reason... clearly not the first to experience them not completing the service they claim they did. They’ve called this review misleading. It is purely factua and the images show their standard of clean. What is misleading is advertising inclusions they don’t deliver and then refusing refunds. Horrible service, rude and dismissive customer support, and zero accountability. You are better off going elsewhere.

  We would like to clarify a few important points for transparency. Your booking was made online for a 4-hour deep clean; however, as per our website, a 5-hour service is recommended for a 3-bedroom home. These recommendations are guidelines, as every home is different, and some homes especially those not maintained regularly may take longer than the recommended time. This is always discussed with clients during the clean. Having said that, due to human error on our end, the job was mistakenly rostered as a 3-hour general clean. The service delivered on the day reflects a 3-hour general clean, which is what was paid for and completed. We did not receive payment for a longer service. The cleaner completed all tasks included in a general clean. The booking error was discussed by phone with Josh, and we offered to rectify the remaining unpaid hour by sending the cleaner back next Monday, which was accepted during the call. For quality control and to prevent false claims, after photos are taken for new clients home which is stated in our welcome email as they help disputes like these and the images from this job show the property was cleaned to a good 3 hour general-clean standard for a 3 bedroom house - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1UOoEZq8LVZ_voLtywagMSSK-QjW4WT_9?usp=sharing For safety reasons, our cleaners do not move heavy items such as fridges or couches, and cleaning underneath these is not included or advertised in our checklist. Windows, ledges, door frames etc are not in our general clean checklist as well. We take pride in providing professional cleaning to hundreds of our regular clients and with full transparency. The service delivered reflects what was completed and paid for. A one-star review does not fairly reflect the hard work of our cleaner. - Nova Organic Cleaning Team
