  Edit: the response from this business to my original review is inaccurate. I never canceled the booking. I arranged another removalist because this company would not answer my calls or texts. Their driver told me he was going to be at least 2 more hours after the call centre had advised another time. I have the texts, emails and attempted calls. After another company arrived and were mid way through the job the driver texted and told me I had 5 minutes to confirm. After being stuffed around for hours I told them not to bother. Booked this company for my move. Morning of I get a message from an email address saying they’ll be late. Called and got a BS story, ETA’s that kept changing and calls from drivers that didn’t match the call centre. Times kept changing and then they wouldn’t answer or respond to texts. Owner has been emailed and texted and still no reply. Had to frantically find another company but still had to delay settlement for hours. An absolute joke of an organisation. Run, do not use. Cannot warn you anymore than that. Just don’t use them.

On the morning of the booking, you were advised that there would be a delay due to an unforeseen issue, and updated ETAs were provided while we were arranging a replacement team to ensure the job could still be completed. During this process, you chose to cancel the booking before the replacement team arrived. We remain committed to completing all scheduled jobs wherever possible and work hard to resolve unexpected issues when they arise. This experience is out of character for our business. Our team facilitates over 3,000 moves per year, and while delays are rare, we always strive to communicate transparently and see every job through.   ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY Do not ever expect them to inform you that they have changed the scheduled arrival times until you ring them on the day, to find out where they are!!! Booked 4 weeks in advance and they never showed. COWBOY REMOVALISTS!!! DONT TRUST THEM

  Hi Nic we respectfully disagree with this account. You were informed on the day that the team was approximately 30 minutes away. Following this update, our office staff were subjected to repeated swearing and highly aggressive behaviour during the phone call. We do not tolerate abusive conduct toward our team and will not place staff in situations where they are spoken to in this manner. This experience is out of character for our business. Our team is highly experienced and facilitates over 3,000 moves per year. That said, we are sorry that this experience did not meet expectations and regret that we missed the mark on this occasion.   The guys came with two trucks, were able to give us a price and gave a refund when they finished earlier than expected. Extremely hard workers, they were great with contacting us before the job and we had no breakages! Would definitely recommend to others

  QCAT has ordered Jack to pay for damages to my property during the move. Jack ofcourse not wanting to comply with court order so will be seeking an enforcement warrant. Don't use this company, if you unfortunately did and need to recover money because Jack won't respond to you, apply to QCAT so there can be legal consequences

There was no leak in the truck, and as stated in our signed terms and conditions, Move For Less Removals is not liable for weather-related damage such as rain exposure during loading or unloading. You were given the option to reschedule at no extra charge, but you chose to proceed with the move on the booked day despite the weather conditions. We have also responded to your communication and explained this clearly, along with the process for raising any formal claim.
