How do I measure a cubic metre? Simply measure the length of the pile of rubbish x the height of the pile of rubbish x the width of the pile of rubbish. Or, if you can imagine how much space the average family car takes up and fitting all your rubbish into this space then you would have about 6-7 cubic metres.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

We charge $55.00 per cubic metre plus GST for general waste  and green waste.   Renovation/building waste, for example, timber, carpet & plaster, is $70.00 per cubic metre plus GST. We do NOT take large quantities of soil, bricks or concrete.  If you would like help with estimating the volume of rubbish you have, you can send me some photos on your phone or via email.  Our prices include loading the bin for you, subject to access. That is, there is no charge to load rubbish that is left in an area where we can get a small truck to within 1-2 metres of the rubbish pile.  Keep in mind, that with us, you only pay for what we take away. You are charged by the metre. This method helps take the guesswork out of ordering a bin size. We arrive on site, measure it all up with you and then take it all away.   We are open 7 days a week from 8.00am to 8.00pm for your convenience. How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

How do I reduce the cost of mattress disposals Simply, cut around the edges of the mattress to reveal the inner springs. Then separate the material form the inner springs. Ask the receptionist for more details when you call.  This will reduce the cost from $50.00 per mattress to about $10.00 – $15.00.  How can I pay for rubbish removal? We accept cash, eftpos and credit cards. Direct credit, invoices and cheques by prior arrangement.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Bin hire or skip hire does not normally include loading. However, in Melbourne, A1 Cheapest Rubbish Removals offers all our customers FREE loading (subject to access). Our all inclusive prices for rubbish removal are: General Waste and Green Waste: $55 m3 + gst Renovation/ Building materials: $70 m3 + gst  DISCOUNTS of 10% (on larger loads)  Surcharges: Mattress $30-$50ea, Tyres $8ea, Heavy load (bricks,soil,concrete,tiles) extra $25 per m3 ( up to 1 wheelie bin amount)  All charges listed above are subject to additional 10% GST. Prices are all inclusive of labour and tipping fees – nothing else to pay.  Final price will be advised once load is inspected and before any work is carried out. Prices current as of 15 August 2014.  We only charge you for what we take away. No costly problems discovering the skip is too small or too large. We charge by the metre unlike skip bin companies. No council permit fees for bins. No damage to your driveway. Only pay for what we take away.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Is there a set amount I have to book in? No. We simply need to have an idea of how much rubbish you will have on the day so we can fit the rubbish on the right sized truck/s and to allow enough time for us to get to our next customers. Once we have seen all the rubbish we will give you a fixed price. If you are happy with the price we will take it all away. Our prices listed on the pricing page are all inclusive and include all labour, tip fees etc. (General Waste is $55.00 per cubic metre and building materials or greenwaste is $80.00 per cubic metre. )

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Do you recycle? Yes. Whenever and wherever we can. Some materials however, reach their end of cycle and unfortunately cannot be recycled at present. For example, timber laminate with glue. Generally speaking, recycling keeps our costs down which we are then able to pass on to you. At present, some examples of the items we recycle include timbers, steel, cardboard, plastic and polystyrene, rubber, fabric, greenwaste, bricks, concrete and soil.
