How did you decide to get into your line of work?

After working all sorts of Jobs I decided that working outdoors and with animals is where I wanted to spend my days. I have always had an affinity for animals of all kinds and was always fascinated with dogs as a child.

What do you like most about your job?

The ability to meet new dogs and people and learn from all of them. I love a challenge when it comes to working with the dogs but I also love when I get to spend a harmonious hour with them surrounded by some of the best natural beauty Sydney has to offer.

I have a solid history of always giving the highest quality service to our customers. People have entrusted me with their beloved pets for a long time now and I have never let them down.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

We guarantee the best quality and most reliable walks around. Our walks are always a full hour at the park and we always walk a maximum of 4 dogs per walker. On the surface many dog walking businesses seem like they are offering the same service but the reality is that is easier for many to do large groups of mismatched dogs and to cut walks short as it's cheaper and quicker. We make the promise to our customers that we never cut corners in our work and take pride in offering the highest standard of service.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Typically speaking we need to know the age, name, and size of the dog as well as any history of behavioural issues with other dogs or humans. We also need to know the suburb and ideally the street name as well.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

We offer all first time customers a free trial walk to give us a go. In addition to this we always offer to have a meeting with you and your pet before we start the walks as this gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have and see us face to face.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We offer a competitive price and a guarantee that we will always do the full hour at the park and a maximum of four dogs per walker. We offer the highest quality service at a competitive price.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We invoice for all the walks we do at the beginning of each month. We charge per walk, however we offer discounts for customers that use us five days a week. We also only charge $10 for any extra dogs from the same house.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have been working with dogs as a walker and handler for over three years full time. Alongside this I have a Certificate III in dog behaviour and training from the NDTF.
