How did you decide to get into your line of work?

The Real Estate Industry, for a long time, has had a bad name for itself with owners and tenants getting below average service and people feeling like they're just getting taken for a ride so their agent can make a quick buck. We started Link Living to change that.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We have an owner with a SMSF property in Logan that was having difficulty with onsite management, tenants constantly behind on rent, minimum to no communication so they hardly knew what was happening with their property. Now they have direct contact with me and they're always replied to same day.

Fees. We have found that going to agencies with lower Management % often have to cut corners to be able to provide a service so cheap. Cutting corners can lead to thousands of dollars in damages and losses trying to save on 1-2% which in the grand scheme of things is only $200 over a year.

1. Set the right rental price for advertising - if too high the property sits vacant losing hundreds if not thousands 2. Have all maintenance on your property up to date and ready before tenants move in 3. Sometimes small renos like adding fans or A/c can help your property rent quicker
