  For a typical electrical quote, we need to know what is already there, if you have existing cabling, lights, switches and anything else electrical related. Photos can also be handy as our electrician can look at them and give a more accurate quote.

• How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

  1. Do a bit of research and have a good idea of what you actually want. (Time changing things around because you changed your mind costs you money). 2. Find out how much the electrician will charge you for materials before you buy your own. (Most of the time we can get them cheaper than you can, this can save you money) 3. If there are other tradespeople involved, make sure they have done what needs to be done. (Giving us the phone number of plaster, painter, plumber etc can help you getting everything done in the right order saving redoing things. If you don't know, feel free to ask).
