Jan has formal qualifications with Diplomas in Planning and Conducting Marriage Ceremonies, Training and Assessment and in Public Relations and an NLP Practitioner Jan always recognised herself as a ‘People Person’. It is this quality that helped her to make the big move to becoming a professionally certified celebrant, able to perform services throughout Australia. Jan loves helping people, and her ability to listen, and to identify possibilities that her clients may never thought of, is her greatest reward. By seamlessly utilising her skills, experience and extraordinary administrative ability gained from years operating in the consumer and public relations sector in senior management, Jan is able to facilitate ceremonies with a professionalism and passion, which is rarely witnessed in this day and age. Jan’s ceremonies will never seem to be like a pantomime, and guests are always making the comment that she must be one of the family, or a close friend she just fits in so well and did not seem to be an outsider. Jan supports Pittwater Rotary Club servicing the local community. Rotary Club of Pittwater would like to thank you again for generously supporting Christmas Carols in the Park 2014. Jan also gives her time freely to the “Look Good Feel Better” program working with Cancer patients during their Chemo and Radiation treatment at the Mona Vale Hospital . 5% of her ceremony fee is donated to Cancer research. Jan also supports Kids Hope….mentoring a child one hour once a week. As an Authorised Marriage Celebrant for over 10 years and also an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church in California since 2007 is available to marry you in the USA… Depending on the state you wish to marry in – enquiry with the state authority to determine what is needed to ensure your marriage is legal….As Jan travels to the USA regularly your celebration may coincide with here travel plans….for your convenience use her contact form giving as much detail as possible. As a celebrant I will assist you to create the service you desire, whether it is a Wedding, Naming, Commitment, Renewal of Vows or Funeral Ceremony and I have also been appointed by the Attorney-General to perform Marriages within Australia. Throughout life there are times when fate takes a hand — be it by way of meeting the love of your life, having children, or indeed, losing that special someone. It is important that these times should be marked in a special way. In addition to the legal requirements which a wedding must include, I have the knowledge, expertise and understanding to help you plan the type of celebration you desire and deserve.
