  I dont know where to even start… Ahmad told me he would be representing me when I initially called him and paid the retainer, after paying I did not hear from them for months and it seemed like everything was left to the last minute He then passed off my case to a junior representative from his firm which has since been fired (I think i know why). When i arrived at court the morning of my case he was basically begging me to go back on my plea and plead guilty, after Ahmad had said I have a strong case to fight. This guy not only made an absolute fool of himself in the court room, he embarrassed me, was unprepared, missed key points and was just all round unprofessional and was visibly nervous addressing the judge. After the decision was handed down (I was found guilty and punished very harshly) Ahmad blamed the judge. I was clearly not happy with the result and took that up with Ahmad who tried to avoid me and told me he was “on leave”. He then agreed to lodge an appeal free of charge because he knew just how bad his junior lawyer was that day and I then again did not hear from him. Months went by until I was just a couple weeks away from appearing and Ahmad was flat out ignoring my calls, texts and all my attempts to try and get in contact with him, finally after condescendingly responding he had notified me that he had another representative from his team to represent me again this time going back on his work that he was going to run my appeal. He told me he would be in touch. It was until the day before court that his representative contacted me to ask me about the case and telling me my chances were low at winning (after Ahmad said I would likely win) after a brief chat he told me to meet him one hour before court so we could have a meeting to discuss my options. When I arrived one hour before the next day, his representative was nowhere to be seen, I called him 27 times with no answer, by then I was obviously starting to stress and get frustrated, so I called Ahmad. Not only did he hang up on me, but he told me to speak with his representative (who was completely non responsive) and that his representative would deal with it. After waiting nearly 2 hours he arrived at court 15 minutes after it had already started, he looked very flustered and told me he had 10 minutes to read over my case and that he had only been told just 2 days earlier that he would be representing me. He then began basically begging me to withdraw the appeal saying i had a 90% chance of losing (after Ahmad told me I would likely win) After the judge accused them of using ai to write submissions, I don't think i even need to say what the outcome was, but I was denied the appeal and given the original penalty, after court his representative told me that the junior lawyer who first ran my case had missed key points that he was not allowed to bring up in the appeal. Ahmad again blamed the judge, which is laughable.. The whole experience I’ve had with Faraj Defence Lawyers has been nothing short of a joke, there unprofessionalism has honestly stunned me and I can 100% say with complete honesty that I've had better representation from legal aid in the past, I cant believe how many fake reviews there are on here, shame on you Ahmad, avoid this place like the plague….

  Ahmad Faraj represented me in a District Court appeal with excellent results. He is a straight-talker who tells you exactly where you stand, which I truly appreciated. Every piece of documentation was prepared perfectly for the court. The successful outcome has allowed me to move forward with my life and family. Truly an outstanding defense lawyer.

  Had an legal issue and rang Ahmed through a mate and he did not hesitate to help me out, Ahmed helped me across my whole case and where there was things I didn’t understand he was clear in explanation and was helpful throughout. Due to unforeseen circumstances Ahmed was not able to represent me on the day of my hearing and he placed his senior in charge of my case. That senior member was Carlos and I cannot describe how gratified I was and am with him. He was exceptional and I can’t thank him enough for his efforts, to begin with I received a phone call the day before where he wanted to iron out a few details and talk to me about the process for the hearing which just showed me that he cares enough to put that extra effort in. Carlos was reliable and honest the whole way through, he didn’t try to sell me a dream outcome rather he said this is what the facts are this is what we’re up against and he was confident and would do whatever he can to achieve the best result for me. During the hearing he was strong and clear in what he was saying and made outstanding points that ultimately won over an extremely tough magistrate. I also want to thank Chanel and Yara for their efforts as well always willing to assist me with whatever and when stress was high during the week of my hearing they helped immensely.
