We are an insured business with indemnity and public insurance.  We guarantee our services for 3 months and make sure you understand the manufacturers equipment guarantees.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I love helping people and I love technology ever since I was introduced to a micro computer in 1978. So technology is a way that I can help others in this ever changing tech environment.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

One of my customers had a hard drive stolen. This hard drive had pictures, stories, and some diary entries of my customer's sister who died young from cancer. The drive was returned but the thief had wiped the data.   Busiconnect I.T. was able to provide a data recovery service that found the valuable files. This was a very emotional job and was treated in full respect of the customer's needs.

Busiconnect I.T. pride themselves in being able to help others with their technology issues. Especially these days as the technology advances are getting faster, its getting harder to understand them to make the most of such new technologies.   Helping others is what we do best.

The one question that a customer must ask to hire the right service professional is... "What is your after sales care like?" . Its all well and good to be sold a computer or been serviced but if your service professional wont or cannot answer a simple question a day or so later, how are you going to feel about what you have been sold?

The most common question is "how quick can you get here". My answer is very dependent on number of clients and the urgency of the request. Whatever time I provide I will always be on time.

Please provide your computer details, know where your original software is, and make sure that you haven't got anything to be embarressed about stored on your computer.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

Tip 1) Don't go for the cheapest or the most expensive quotes. A cheap price could mean poor customer service whilst and over expensive price could be just a rip off.  Tip 2). Don't go and spend money on gear before talking with a computer technician. You might just purchase the incorrect gear.  Tip 3). Maintain your computer regularly so that major damage is averted later on which costs twice as much as the proactive servicing. Just like a car.

My pricing is always fair in regards to customers needs and my ability to provide the services. I prefer not to compete on price but mainly to compete and the best customer services that I always provide,

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We charge by the hour and we charge fairly. If the job is going to be large then we will organise a fixed quote for the job.   We charge for remote support work by the quarter hour and. Our onsite charge is a minimum 1 hour and then charged by the quarter hour after that.

Busiconnect I.T. specialises in proactive maintenance support and Cloud based products, but we are happy to repair, install, provision desktops, laptops, networks and servers.
