Yes we have full insurance > Public liabliilty, insurance for customer cars etc.  Yes our work is guaranteed.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

For the safety aspect mainly.  All of us here at Brisbane Automotive Service use empathy when working on vehicles.  Would we want our families to drive in this vehicle is often a self asked question.  We can't force anyone to do any required work but safety related items are always given that extra effort to gain job approval from our customers.

Our favouite ones are when women thank us for treating them with respect and not talking down to them when they seek answers.  Truth be known their questions are usually more logical than that of their husbands but you didn't read that here.

We get a lot of satifaction helping people solve their motoring problems.  In particular when others have not been successful in being able to rectify a problem.  We have no qualms in going the extra mile to help a customer.

We consider it more important to find the right professional by how your questions are answered.  Many women tell us that others answer their questions in a condecending manner which we will never do.  All customers deserve their questions answered in a clear and respectful manner.

The most common question is how can I trust a mechanic?  All we can say is we have a very good reputation for being honest and have had thousands of repeat business and referrals due to this quality.

All we can say is that we will never do any work that is not necessary.  Permission is sought before jobs are undertaken.  Integrity is very important to us we like to be able to sleep at night.

The 17 digit VIN is the best way plus > Make / Model / Year / Petrol or Diesel / Kilometres - The more information the better.  If you have trouble finding the VIN, if you supply us with the registration number, we can work from that with most vehicles.

Honesty = We don't do unnecessary work = We price parts from more than one supplier to ensure the best prices are obtained = We do the work as quickly as it can be possibly done.  If we quote 1 hour 30 minutes and the job takes under that time, then the quote is duly reduced.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Service prices vary from $170.00 upward depending on the type of service, required parts and volume and type of oil required.  It is vital that the correct oil goes into vehicles.  The wrong oil can cause serious engine damage which may in turn void your new car warranty.  We refer to our reference chart for every vehicle and don't guess.  If we don't have the specific oil in stock, we will purchase what is needed to do the job.
