    I contracted this company for my move based on their strong reviews, but my experience fell well short of expectations. To start on a positive note, I received a call the night before advising that one of their staff had been injured and asking if I could move my booking. Due to strict lift booking times and a tight schedule, I wasn’t able to change it. To their credit, they accommodated this and arrived on time, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. In the days leading up to the move, I sent multiple emails to confirm timing due to the tight constraints, but most of these went unanswered or were ignored. With strict strata lift booking requirements, coordination is already stressful, and timely communication from the company would have helped ease that burden. I was moving out of a small studio apartment with around 15–20 boxes, a few small appliances, and standard larger items like a bed, fridge, washing machine, table, and chairs. Based on this, I expected the move-out to take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Instead, it took 3.5 hours just to move everything out. The inefficiency was very noticeable. At times, items were being taken down to the truck one by one, which significantly slowed the process. Seeing the pace, I stepped in to help, yet even with my assistance, progress remained slow. It took nearly an hour just to secure items in the truck, and close to another hour to dismantle the bed, which is unacceptable. When they began disassembling the bed, I went to organise lift access, which took around 15–20 minutes. When I returned, they had not removed a single panel and said the screws were too tight. This raises concerns about their level of preparation. Movers should be properly equipped with the right tools to handle standard furniture. If they are unable to dismantle an item, they should be able to adapt and find an alternative solution efficiently, which they eventually did only after I returned. There also appeared to be a lack of proper equipment. The use of flatbed trolleys would have significantly improved efficiency. I observed another move happening in the building at the same time, and those movers worked far more efficiently by staging items in the hallway and loading them into the lift as it became available. In contrast, my movers complained about lift access and continued moving items individually. Due to the delays, I ended up under pressure from building management regarding my booked time slot, despite the situation being outside of my control. The issues didn’t stop there. During the move, my microwave and TV were dropped without any acknowledgment. While both still function, they sustained scratches. The washing machine door was scratched and also left with tape residue, suggesting the use of low-quality materials that left marks upon removal. Additionally, my motorised desk leg was damaged, and a power tool I lent them to speed up the process was scratched. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially given the extended time they took to complete the job. Overall, I expected the entire move to take closer to 4 hours, pushing it maybe 5 hours, but it ended up taking 6 hours and costing close to $1,000. Given that I had to step in and assist due to their slow pace, I feel this was poor value and not reflective of professional service. They were also pressuring me to complete the payment before moving the very last item that was occupying the lift, stating that without completing the payment immediately, I would be charged extra by the company for the extra time they spent. Working in building management, I have seen a wide range of moving companies—those who work efficiently and those who drag out jobs unnecessarily. Based on my experience, this move should have been completed much faster. Whether this was due to poor training, lack of equipment, or company practices, the result was disappointing. Despite being told they would follow up, I have yet to hear from them nearly 2 months after the move.

    Hi Damien Chung, I’m very sorry you face issue during move but we always gives a rough estimated time that move will take certain hours but time depends upon lots of factors such as : if moving via lift then it increases time, if you have stairs then it takes time, If there is more walking then it also takes time as we gave you around 5 hours time and it took 6 hours so there was 1 hour difference, but we will have a look again and our complaint team will reach out to you.
