Hiring the wrong creative supplier costs more than hiring the right one. Ask these before you sign:  Are you a real team or a solo operator subbing work out? Can I see recent work in my industry? Do you handle strategy and creative, or just execution? What's included in the quote and what costs extra? How many revisions are included? Who owns the files, footage and accounts when we're done? Can you handle multiple services (web, branding, ads, video, photo) or just one? Who's my main point of contact? What's the turnaround and what happens if you miss it? Are your drone pilots CASA licensed and is your team insured?  Cheaper isn't always cheaper. A bad website, weak brand or flat campaign costs more in lost leads than doing it properly the first time.  Based in Cairns, working Australia wide. What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

How much does a video or photo shoot cost? It really depends on what you need. A half-day product shoot is quite different to a multi-location brand video with talent and a full crew. Once we understand your goals, we'll put together a clear fixed-price quote so there are no surprises.  How long does it take to get the final files? Photos are usually back within 5 to 10 business days. Video edits typically take 2 to 4 weeks depending on length and complexity. We'll always give you a timeline upfront so you can plan around it.  Do you travel? Absolutely. We're based in Cairns and regularly shoot across Far North Queensland, the Torres Strait and further afield. Travel is quoted separately so it's nice and transparent.  Can you help with talent, locations and styling? Yes, happy to. We've got a great network of models, presenters, stylists and locations we work with regularly. If you've already got your own people lined up, that works too.  Can you film and photograph at the same shoot? Yes, and it's often a smart way to get more value out of a single day. We'll bring the right crew so both photo and video get the attention they deserve.  Do you do drone work? Yes. We have licensed drone operators for aerial photo and video, including commercial CASA-approved flights.  Will I get the raw files? Usually we deliver finished, edited files in whatever formats you need. If raw files are important to you, just let us know upfront and we can work it into the agreement.  Can you shoot social media content as well as hero brand work? For sure. We can capture vertical content for Reels, TikTok and Stories alongside your main campaign assets, so you walk away with a full library of content to use across every channel.  What kind of work do you focus on? We specialise in business and brand work: products, venues, services, founders, teams and events. We don't shoot weddings or family portraits, but we're happy to point you towards someone who does.  We've never done a shoot before. Is that ok? Totally. A lot of our clients are first-timers. We'll guide you through the whole process from planning to wrap, and make sure you feel comfortable on the day.

We've been operating out of Cairns since 2007, so we've had plenty of time to refine how we run a shoot. Our team turns up on time, prepared, and with backup gear in case anything goes sideways. We're fully insured, we communicate clearly throughout the project, and we deliver when we say we will. Most of our work comes through word of mouth and repeat clients, which we take as a good sign we're doing something right.

Most quotes come back within a day or two.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Plan in batches. If you can shoot multiple products, services or social pieces in one session, you'll get far better value than booking separate shoots throughout the year.  Combine photo and video. Having both captured on the same day saves on crew, setup and location costs, and you walk away with a much fuller content library.  Come prepared. A quick brief, a few reference images and a clear idea of where the content will be used helps us shoot exactly what you need, with no wasted time or reshoots.

We quote fixed project fees with everything included, so there are no hidden costs or hourly surprises. Because we're a full agency rather than a solo shooter, we can scale the crew up or down to suit your budget without compromising quality. We also bundle photo and video shoots when it makes sense, which often saves clients 20 to 30% compared to booking each separately.  We're not the cheapest option in Cairns, and we don't try to be. But we deliver work that's genuinely usable across your marketing, which tends to make the investment go a lot further.

We charge a fixed project fee, agreed upfront. Once we understand what you need, where it's happening and how the content will be used, we put together a clear quote with everything itemised. No hourly rates, no surprise extras.For larger or ongoing projects, we can structure things as a day rate or split into milestone payments to make budgeting easier. Travel outside Cairns is quoted separately so you always know what's included.
