  Baby steps by Stephanie was recommended to me by several mums on fb when I was seeking a professional Newborn/family photographer. I emailed Steph and received a reply within minutes with all the information I needed including her good value for money newborn package and some kind and useful advice. Booking was very easy and although it is recommended by most photographers to book for a newborn session while pregnant, Steph was able to fit my week old son in within the following week. Steph was welcoming, kind and professional and communicated well how the session would run and asked me what I had in mind. Her studio was neat, clean and heated for stripping off bub in winter and had a great variety of props, lights backdrops etc. She was patient and caring and determined to get the photos perfect during several different positions and utilizing many of her props . When we were done she explained how ordering worked. Steph has a great online viewing system, no need to come back to the studio to go through photos on the spot. I had unlimited amount of time to carefully go through the photos and choose my favourites and dad and nana's fave too. The photos were of highly professional quality and I wanted to get them all. After emailing her my selection, my prints were ordered and I received them in no time and her presentation showed great care for her work which was better than my high expectations. I was very impressed with every aspect of her service! I have recommended Baby steps by Stephanie to everyone I know and look forward to using her service again and again.

  Funnily enough, it sort of just fell into my lap. Having never touched a camera before in my life, after the birth of my second child I decided to give photography a whirl to occupy me while I was on maternity leave. All I can say is, I'm glad that I did...

  I enjoy working under pressure and that is a pre-requisite for a wedding photographer in my humble opinion. I'm inspired by light and people and love and find that my energetic, organised and ambitious personality suits the job description perfectly.
