• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  With spice running through our blood - we're not sure we ever had a choice! But frustrated by the 'run of the mill' offerings by Indian restaurants in Australia, we knew we wanted to share something totally different with our community; the food we adore from our tropical village in South India. So here we are, four years on, having cooked at festivals, events and weddings across the state and now with our first street food restaurant in the Dandenong Mountains.

• Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

  It's always a privilege to meet new customers and there are so many great stories, we're not sure where to start. For us, it's the many customers we have who have become more than regulars and are now part of our Babajis story. Nothing makes us happier.
