Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes. We have the studio and all photography and video equipment insured, we have public liability and professional indemnity insurance. We have a working with children certificate. All our work is fully guaranteed. You are delighted with the results or we will re-shoot or give your money back.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I become a professional photographer in Brazil many years ago. I have entered a photography competition and wan a few categories. This opened doors for my work and I started photographing for the tourism government publications. I had my own photography lab and studio and worked with fashion producers, product photography, post card producers and domestic portrait.

Each job brings something new to your experience. I remember a customer that paid us to run a video recording test of her explaining about the features of a product. She found out that it is not simple to act in front of a camera and that hiring an actor for some of the videos is a good solution.

The best is to meet the customers and listen to their ideas and working together towards satisfaction. When we show the final product and get comments such as this one received recently: "The photos were amazing, and look great on the packaging – can't wait to see it all printed." and "It was wonderful to work with you, hopefully we will have some jobs in the near future!"

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Ask if they are an accredited registered professional, if they are insured and ask to see these papers. If one accident happens during your project and someone is hurt or some expensive equipment is damaged, what impact would it be to you? The Accreditation process requires the person to submit their work and it was considered as of acceptable professional quality. Their working practice and insurance is also checked. There is a lot of not true professionals that may look like a good deal. Be careful.

For the video productions, the customers usually get surprised by the amount of hours that the post processing takes. When we explain the colour grading, cuts, transitions, correcting effects, texts, audio enhancements and synchronization, background music, voice overs and the reviews, they start to understand it better.

Our reputation, our guarantees that you love our service or have your money back and our detailed written proposals for every job.  There are some jobs that we do not do. For example, new born and pregnancy, weddings and underwater photography are not areas that we are good at. We would only refer you to other professionals that we trust.  The areas that we work, we are very good at them.

Our services are of very high quality and of a fair price. Our dealings with every client is friendly but professional. There are no hidden costs with us. You are dealing with a true, insured, accredited and experienced professional.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

For photography services, we need to know the quantity, what we need to do, when and how you want the photos to look like. For example, we need to know that you want to remove the background of images or have ghosts or multiple images together. For video projects, we need to talk longer as there are many more details to cover. In call cases, the best is to call us. We meet in our studio or your place. We listen and in the next day you receive our written proposal with all that was talked.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Think about the images or the videos you want. The messages that you want to send to your target audience. Write a simple script or story board to help with the costing of the video and to find solutions for each scene. If you do not know how to write a script, simply list the messages and the sequences. If you need photos, where are they going to be used? Have you seen anything similar?

Our price structure is simple and is based on the time it takes to do the job, equipment and people necessary. You contact us, we listen to your requirements and we will send to you a service agreement proposal listing all activities, dates, costs, responsibilities, inclusions, licences and all that needs to be clear. Our price is fair and in many cases we are able to offer options that are offer great value at a lower cost.

How do you normally charge for your service?

It varies a lot as each project is different. A two hour studio product session price starts at $450.00 for 20 images. A small video production starts at $670.00.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Accepted Answer

Commercial, industrial and corporate photography and video productions. Product photography for advertising, point of sales and packaging, corporate events, studio portrait sessions, web site product photography and product training video productions are the most frequent categories of work we do. We also offer an in studio music video production for singer and artists.

Years of experience, full accreditation from AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) that is the main professional photography institution of Australia. To achieve the accreditation, AIPP inspects not only for the professional practice but the quality of the work.  Multi award winner of national industry awards. Gold award in 2011, 2 Silver awards in 2012, 3 Silvers awards in 2013, 4 Silver awards in Victoria Awards 2014.
